New Feats

Skill Focus: Scry

  • Benefit: Gain a bonus feat.
  • Normal: You would just have to spend your feat this level on something normal.

Straight from Future Sight

  • Benefit: You can use your Gimmick one more time per session than you usually could.
  • Normal: You aren’t as gimmicky, obviously.
  • Special: You can take this feat multiple times. Its effects stack.

Keep Killing Shit

  • Prerequisite: Power Attack, Cleave, Great Cleave
  • Benefit: Whenever you manage to drop 3 or more consecutive foes from a Cleave attack, you may choose to just keep attacking everyone and everything at random until it’s all dead. I mean, after three are down, you might as well, right?
  • Normal: You have to follow the rules.
  • Note: The character may choose not to kill party members.

Feminist Spell [METAMAGIC]

  • Prerequisite: Female, or looking to be laid by angry co-eds.
  • Benefit: Whenever you cast a Feminist Spell, it deals three times the normal damage to a male target. They must also make a Fortitude save against the spell’s DC or lose their testicles. They can be recovered with a spell such as regeneration, which finally gives the spell regeneration a use outside of flesh to stone mishaps. A Feminist spell uses a spell slot 2 levels higher than the normal spell.
  • Normal: Your spells treat all genders equally.

Feminist Power [METAPSIONIC]

  • Prerequisite: Female, or looking to be laid by angry co-eds.
  • Benefit: Whenever you manifest a Feminist Power, it deals three times the normal damage to a male target. They must also make a Fortitude save against the power’s DC or lose their testicles. They can be recovered with a spell such as regeneration, which finally gives the spell regeneration a use outside of flesh to stone mishaps. A Feminist spell uses 4 more power points that a normal use of that power.
  • Normal: Your powers treat all genders equally.

Broken Spell [METAMAGIC]

  • Prerequisites: Buy me an iPhone
  • Benefit: Whenever you cast a Broken spell, you may choose to have it work as though you had actually cast heal, harm, finger of death, or mage’s disjunction. A Broken spell uses a whatever spell slot you want it to use, but it is always considered to be a 9th level spell, even if you can’t otherwise cast 9th level spells. Additionally, you can apply to Broken Spell to Notice checks for the same effect.
  • Normal: I wouldn’t have an iPhone, the game would retain its integrity, other players would have fun.

Fix Astral Construct

  • Prerequisite: Ability to manifest astral construct
  • Benefit: You can ignore those ridiculous errata to Astral Construct in Complete Psionic.
  • Normal: Shapers suck.

Atheism

  • Prerequisite: Cannot cast divine spells
  • Benefit: Divine spells no longer work on you. Any source that would do additional divine damage doesn’t do any damage. You get irritable around Easter.
  • Normal: Things work like they should.

Agnosticism

  • Prerequisite Cannot cast divine spells
  • Benefit: You don’t know if divine spells work on you or not. Any effect that would deal additional divine damage to you instead deals “city” damage. (Thanks, Cityscape!)
  • Normal: Things are a little more black and white.

Justifiable Manslaughter

  • Prerequisite: Smite evil class feature
  • Benefit: You can smite evil against a non-evil individual, so long as the individual has something you want… like, say… oil. The assault is completely justifiable. Your character must explain this upon smiting a non-evil individual.
  • Normal: You would lose your class features faster than Tara Reid has lost her looks.

Alcoholic Spell [METAMAGIC]

  • Prerequisite: Non-Mormon
  • Benefit: Whenever you cast an Alcoholic spell, the subject of the spell must pass a Fortitude save or become intoxicated, taking a -2 penalty to all attack rolls, Reflex and Will saves, and Dexterity or Wisdom based checks. An alcoholic spell does not take up a spell slot of a higher level than the original spell, but it does require the use of an alcoholic beverage as a material component unless the caster is Courtney Love, at which point the spell is just automatically alcoholic.
  • Normal: The spells work alright, but they don’t give you a buzz.
  • Note: Even subjects that normally could not become drunk can become drunk through this effect, including non-living matter and inanimate objects.

Irish Heritage

  • Benefit: You gain a +8 racial bonus to Fortitude saves to resist becoming intoxicated. You cannot become drunk on anything served with an umbrella.
  • Normal: You get drunk just as easily as anyone else.

Limit Break

  • Prerequisite: Must be from Magic Earth or arguably Rokugan, must be unreasonably pretty, if not outright girly.
  • Benefit: Whenever your HP total would be reduced to one third or lower, you can immediately use any 9th level maneuver against an enemy. You can do this even if your character cannot use maneuvers. You can choose to use your highest ability score as your effective Strength score for this. If all of your stats suck, just find the highest number on your character sheet and use that instead.
  • Normal: Things are realistic and non-laughable.

Defy Anime Physics

  • Prerequisite: INT 13
  • Benefit: You know how things should actually work. As such, effects that are contingent upon flashy, exaggerated physics just don’t work on you. You are immune to the effects of the Limit Break feat, and you gain a +2 insight bonus on all saves against martial maneuvers and any stupid tricks made with a spiked chain.
  • Normal: You would probably just get hit with a few rounds of Time Stands Still naming “experience total” as the effective Strength score and die miserably.

Monk Levels

  • Prerequisite: Improved Unarmed Strike
  • Benefit: Your unarmed strike damage increases like a monk’s.
  • Normal: You only do regular damage with an unarmed strike.
  • Special: You can take this feat multiple times. Each time you take it, your unarmed damage increases another tier. If you are a monk, any class features you have that are contingent on your monk level are increased as if you were a monk of one level higher.

Death Metal

  • Prerequisite: Bardic music
  • Benefit: You can expend a use of your bardic music to deal 2d6 + your bard level in sonic damage to a single target. It is permitted a Reflex save to take half damage. The save is 10 + half your bard level + your Charisma modifier.
  • Normal: You can’t do that.
